The project includes new inmate housing, intake, booking, and holding areas, administrative offices, a commercial kitchen, laundry facilities, two courtrooms, and associated parking and site infrastructure improvements. Renovations to the existing facility were carefully coordinated with the new construction and street utility modifications to support continued operations throughout the project. The expanded facility includes 200 beds and modernized spaces designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and long-term operational performance for Cheatham County.
